Wednesday 20th of June 2007 [ ??????, ???? ६, २०६४ ]

On 8 June 07 Dr. Ramesh Khatri the first and well renowned theologian in Nepal visited NCCN office. While his visit to NCCN a meeting with NCCN General Secretary and other staff of NCCN was taken place for about 3 hours.

In the meeting Dr. Rokaya shared about the mission, vision, objectives, structure and activities of NCCN in brief. He also briefed regarding the NCCN's networking at national and international level and its relationship with south Asian Church based organizations and global ecumenical bodies and different faith based organizations.

Responding to the meeting Dr. Khatri said that this meeting made him clear on the some of the misunderstanding about NCCN and its activities that he had before.

As NCCN is working  with broad vision of uniting all the Churches and Christians in Nepal irrespective of denominations and groups and motivate them to be actively involved in broader social issues faced by the nation, to challenge them to actively participate in the development of nation and advocate for the problems being faced by the Christian community in Nepal, it is one good news that one renowned theological leader in Nepal  visited NCCN office to be clear about the misunderstanding that he had before and became clear after the meeting.
